RESEM - Sale of luminescent and fluorescent substrates: D- and L- luciferin, GFP, Coenzymes: NAD(DPN), NADP-Na, Enzymes: bacterial luciferase, firefly luciferase, SOD

Product Information: D- & L-Luciferin

Product No. 260159 / 260201 / 260313 / 260401

Dissolving D- or L-Luciferin

1 mg of the free acid form dissolves slowly at room temperature in pH 7.6 to 7.8 into 10 mL of 30 to 100 mM Tris –Tricine and Tris EDTA and HEPES buffers. A solution is readily obtained using stoichiometric amounts of diluted NaHCO3 solution:

Add 100 mg Luciferin into 3 mL of 1% NaHCO3 in a buffer. Vortex to obtain immediately a clear yellow solution which should be protected from direct light exposure.
